This course is meant for complete beginners in Ableton and DAW music production. Over six weeks, we will go through the basics of music production in Ableton LIVE, so that you can use it independently by the end of the course. You will be offered the Lite version of the software, and we can lend you laptops and headphones if you need.
The sessions will take place at the 2nd floor of Refugio café (Lenaustr. 4, 12047 Berlin) in the Konferenzraum, each Wednesday from May 22 - June 26, 18:30 - 20:00. The content will build up on each session so it’s important to attend them all.

Your mentors will be Nathan Micay, assisted by our own Ophélie.
Nathan is a Toronto born, Berlin based producer, composer and DJ. He has released numerous albums via Warp Records imprint LuckyMe to critical acclaim and DJ’d clubs around the world including Panorama Bar, Fabric and Circus Tokyo. In the last 5 years, he has switched his focus to scoring for film and TV, receiving accolades for his work on HBO’s ‘Industry’, HBO’s ‘Reality’ among other titles.
